Speech Sounds

Speech sounds are the sounds we say to make up words. Some children may have difficulty producing clear, easy to understand sounds. This can make it difficult to understand the child and can have an impact on literacy development. At CommuniKids Speech Therapy, our speech pathologists can work with your child to determine possible underlying factors impacting on speech sounds, such as difficulty with movements of the tongue, teeth, lips and jaw or challenges hearing differences between speech sounds. Our therapists have experience working with a range of speech sound delays and disorders and will work with your child to produce clear sounds in everyday situations.
